This heater drew 20 amps when turned on at -7°C (20°F) and generated 13.4 volts at the ends of the wires. As it warmed up and had a stable voltage, the current draw began to drop, and I stopped the test when it reached 18.5 amps. .Overall this is a very bad product that I would not recommend. I can still use it but it doesn't really do what I want so I'm considering returning it and looking for an alternative product. PS: To everyone who writes reviews, don't just say it's a bad product, tell everyone so. why is this a bad product.
