My mother makes Christmas every year and it's a lot of work. This year I wanted to save her the worry of cleaning her beautiful china so I bought her these plates for us to throw away. They looked beautiful, almost real, until a fork and knife were brought to them. I heard crackling the whole time I was cutting food. They didn't break into pieces, but by the time we finished eating, all of our plates had small holes in them. This was due to the pressure exerted on them when cutting food. I usually buy them from Costco, which charges the same price, but I never got there so it's not like I went the cheap route. I spent a lot of time reading the reviews for this product and they were all good so I was very disappointed when this happened. I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying them!
