Review on πŸ”² STICKGOO 10-Sheet Peel and Stick Subway Tile: White Backsplash for Kitchen and Bathroom (Thicker Design) by Mike Modesto

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks like a real subway tile - true to size.

I bought these tiles to make the back wall of my RV. I replaced a backsplash that was outdated and looked cheap. I wanted something cleaner, more modern and updated. They are very easy to use and can be moved or modified if you don't get it right the first time. Unlike other tiles, they are more like jigsaw puzzles and do not have overlapping areas. I have mixed feelings about this because some of mine have moved and it's a little hole now. I plan to do a bit of spackling and repair these spots. When you first remove the protective layer, the tiles are very sticky, but after exposure to air, they become smoother. I tried cutting them on the back with a utility knife and it was a bit tricky. I started the process with a new knife blade, so it's not because it was dull. After a few tiles I just used scissors and it worked better. I could get a straighter edge if I took my time. Most of my edges were under the transition strip, so having a perfect edge wasn't important to me except at the extreme ends. After a few days I turned my attention to the tile and rubbed any areas that weren't adhering and that solved all of these problems. Now they look great. These tiles are a little more expensive than other brands, but if you want subway tiles to look real and have the right dimensions, then they're worth it. They also don't look like stickers after you caulk the edges because they're thicker. I am very satisfied with the installation and the appearance of the tiles. I add before, during and after photos.
