I got my Dremel tool kit over 10 years ago. This is the standard plug-in (no battery) model. It came with a variety of tools and I bought others but 95% of my use "cuts" metal. With the old standard cutting discs, no matter how careful I was, they often broke, as every time my angle changed slightly or I entered a new cutting zone, they broke/broke. They were cheap, but it's annoying to keep changing those damn little screws. A few years ago I bought an EZ lock with special ceramic tile cutter blades I don't use it much Finally I decided to buy these cutter wheels and give them a try - what's the difference! Disc (flexes more easily than steel cutting discs) also has a slight kink in the EZ-Lock mount. As a result, you can "twist" a bit when cutting, change the cutting angle slightly, etc. and they don't break. My first use was cutting some rusty nuts and bolts off an old JD tractor seat and I was very happy with how well they worked - highly recommend.
