I got what I ordered which is sharp metal sticks. They're a little spicy, like the first time. To give you a general idea of how spicy they are I used the new one to pop the pimples as it's easier to pop the pimples before you pop them. It took a few tries for the pointed metal wand to break every skin, but it worked in the end, so they're sharp enough to hurt if you're not careful, but not sharp enough to do much damage if you accidentally stab yours fingers with them. I don't make cocktails, so I can't say if they're good for that. However, I use them the same way I used to use wooden toothpicks in the past. These things do a good job of cleaning under your nails as long as you're not too rough. In general, they can scrape one item off another fairly effectively. The survey also asked about durability, so I tried bending one of these. Not broken, but you can bend them without much effort. However, it does if you're actively trying to bend it. But even if you bent it, these neat little tools come in a pretty big package at a decent price. I have no real complaints about this product.
