I have stairs leading to a finished basement. At the top of the stairs there is a light on one switch and another at the bottom of the other. If you turn on a light to light up the stairs and walk up or down the stairs where the other switch is, you have to turn it on and then come back to turn off the first light. So I wanted 3 switches (one on the downstairs garage door, one on the downstairs living room door and one on the upstairs door) controlling both lights. I bought a set with two sockets and a switch and another set with a switch and socket. The instructions for syncing both sockets to all three switches were very simple (I don't use a socket). Installing the switches was easy (no wiring, why not just do it?). They do EXACTLY what I wanted and now I don't have to leave the lights on or off! I am VERY happy with them and they have been working great for over a month now.
