thick bottom works great. Fine grinding doesn't seem to work
Fine grinding doesn't seem to work or barely works, there's a point deduction - but I bought this for freshly ground thick pepper flakes and it does the same thing as me. Roger that. People say it's plastic, but I think it's ceramic - white ceramic and plastic are hard to tell apart. If you want both flat and thicker bottomed options I wouldn't take this. It's decent enough for thick soil and feels like it should last for years.
