Review on Prime Line 5145 Screen Storm Button by Ron Houston

I needed a set of replacement handles for my screen door on my screened porch. It looked almost exactly like mine, except for the black button on the handle. What I received is completely different from what is pictured or described. The button on the outside handle is white instead of black, which is normal (actually a good thing). The inside handle has a latch on the side, not the top - that's normal too. But the strike plate is sturdy and not spring loaded. When I got it I didn't know it would make a difference so I went ahead and installed it. This appears to be a good product, perhaps better quality than what is pictured and described, however it did not work well with my screen door. The strike plate is 3/8" apart and I need 1/4" for my door configuration. I did not understand it from the picture and the description. I guess I'll have to buy another 1/4" lock plate if I want this grip to work.
