Don't buy this. It is too expensive! I've used this to test my software that I'm writing. I found that at a certain point in time (0x0A) the device sends a line feed when most other devices send a carriage return (0x0D). I figured that was the low rating issue and it was an easy fix. I really wanted to return 5 stars just because you helped me make my software more reliable. But actually, by the third day or so, the device stopped communicating with the car altogether and didn't work at all. It uses a soft-fed switch. I think they messed up the hardware beyond repair. I have tried.
