UPDATE: I was cleaning the hedgehog cage tonight and for a second it smelled burnt, I couldn't figure out where it was coming from, then I noticed some brown spots on my hedgehog's balaclava. I followed them and thought there was some stale food on the fleece but it was melted plastic from a heat lamp! I burned my fingers like that. I looked at the lamp and it was bubbling so brown. Such a shame, I really do NOT recommend this lamp to ANY ANIMAL. WHAT IF THE LAMP CAN FALL ON MY HEDGE UNDER THE HEAT LAMP? I would never know until the next morning! Now my hedgehog has to go without heat until I buy a replacement. Such a shame. 0 stars. It's one of the coldest nights this month and in fact my hedgehog's lamp isn't working properly. I have to keep tapping the lamp to turn on the heater and it makes a suspicious noise. We need to buy lamps of well-known brands for the time being.
