Ideal for heat lamps

chickens love it. When I was two weeks old I took out the big red 250 watt lightbulb and put it back in as chicks can get stressed by the light all the time. I know I would. Now they can sleep better when the sun goes down and still stay warm, saving 100 watts.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Buy better lightbulbs. - Reptiles and Amphibians

The lights looked good but one lasted less than 30 minutes and broke. Luckily, the reptile terrarium's mesh coverage kept large pieces out. But I still had to clean up the tiny pieces of glass that had fallen. Very disappointed. I don't want to risk the second one popping.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons

fell apart after 4 months

Bought to replace the Zoo Med heater which died after 6 years. This one was about half the price but the screw tip fell apart after only 4 months. You don't even get what you pay for. Maybe it was just good luck at ZooMed and bad luck at Alicioo, but I don't recommend it and going back to ZooMed.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Some little things

Broken Product - Reptiles and Amphibians

After reviving the product, I heard all the broken glass in the box (hence the missing asterisk). Didn't even bother to open it. However, after I handed it over, Revain promptly sent another and made the return very easy. The product really serves its purpose and I am very satisfied with the uncomplicated return.

Pros
  • Easy to Read Control Panel
Cons
  • High Price

My kitty loves it! suitable for heat lamps

My kitty loves this "lizard light". She likes to sleep in the back room, but sometimes it gets a bit chilly in winter. I placed this about 22-24 inches above her bed which is above the dryer. That's great! Just enough warmth to keep her comfortable without overheating or touching anything on her or the bed. We are completely satisfied with her.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Empty

The heat lamp melted my hedgehog cage! She burned her fingers so badly.

UPDATE: I was cleaning the hedgehog cage tonight and for a second it smelled burnt, I couldn't figure out where it was coming from, then I noticed some brown spots on my hedgehog's balaclava. I followed them and thought there was some stale food on the fleece but it was melted plastic from a heat lamp! I burned my fingers like that. I looked at the lamp and it was bubbling so brown. Such a shame, I really do NOT recommend this lamp to ANY ANIMAL. WHAT IF THE LAMP CAN FALL ON MY HEDGE UNDER THE…
