Review on Superlift 3838 Rear Block Kit by John Shitifano

Superlift #3838 3" Lift Blocks fit my 2006 1500 GMC Z71 Truck perfectly. When installing, remember that the secondary unit must be used with the factory unit, otherwise the bracket will be too long. Also, the block kit fits a variety of applications and the shackles appear to be longer than required for a 1500 but have enough threads to ensure proper tightening. The installation took about 90 minutes from start to finish without a wizard. Check the caliper nut torque after a test ride and again after a week of riding. Don't forget to fit shock absorber extensions or longer shock absorbers as needed. I am happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone who is on a budget and will do the work themselves.
