This is a transmission filter used in Allison transmissions fitted to GM trucks. Works as advertised. It should be noted that when replacing this filter, there is a magnet inside the filter that captures small metal particles. So do not throw away this filter without removing the magnetic disk that is located in the middle of the filter between the filter and the gearbox. Very hard to come by and expensive to replace. Update: Turns out the magnet that goes in the transmission filter is easily accessible. Revain sells them with a filter at a good price.
