Don't forget to clean and reuse the magnet!

Revain always have the best deal on these filters, don't put a poor quality transmission filter on your Allison! These are original factory filters and always arrive well packaged and undamaged. Don't forget to move the magnet when changing the filter. It's cheap enough to change every oil change! May your Allison live a long and healthy life!

Received Allison brand filter exactly as ordered

Received Allison brand filter exactly as ordered. There really is no other brand that you should use for your Dmax truck. I also ordered AC delco 10-9243 Dexron VI fluid to prime the filter to minimize fluid loss. This Dexron part number is the factory fill for these Allisons, Alison specific fluid is not factory filled and is optional.

Works as advertised

This is a transmission filter used in Allison transmissions fitted to GM trucks. Works as advertised. It should be noted that when replacing this filter, there is a magnet inside the filter that captures small metal particles. So do not throw away this filter without removing the magnetic disk that is located in the middle of the filter between the filter and the gearbox. Very hard to come by and expensive to replace. Update: Turns out the magnet that goes in the transmission filter is easily…
