Very good cable, programming the radio is easy. Be sure to follow the instructions and try to connect while your computer is trying to communicate with the radio and you won't have any problems. To make it even easier, look in the menu, find the repeater book and select your location and you can download all the repeater frequencies straight to your radio with all the correct tones and offsets. You can also choose which frequencies you want to download. It is really that easy. If you're still having problems, go to Device Manager and make sure the COM port is the same as what you set in the setup file. Hope that helps.
