Review on 🏊 Cressi Short Full Foot Pocket Fins - Lightweight Italian-made Fins for Pool and Sea Swimming or Training by David Jennings

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Super comfortable good size good workout

I bought these fins to replace a pair of Aqua Sphere Alpha fins I've had for ten years. I liked how light and soft they are (made of croc material) but apparently they shrink in hot cars and I swim before work and don't want to carry my swim bag to the office so they gave me cramps in my legs when mine shrank until I couldn't put my legs in anymore. I've just tried the new Cressi fins and I love them. COMFORT: The black rubber that keeps your feet in the fins is very soft and comfortable. . I wear US 10.5/11 men's shoes and ordered a 43/44 fin that fits me. I don't have to strain to put them on, but I feel like they don't slip off and I had no trouble holding them during turns. While your foot is wrapped in soft black rubber for comfort, some hard blue material runs under your foot to keep it from folding and trying to slide off your foot. It's smart.ZIEHER: I've never seen that on a fin, but it's brilliant. The soft black heel rubber was surprisingly low on my heel. I thought that would make it more likely to slide, but it didn't (see above). The black rubber is in the shape of a small protrusion that extends from the heel. You can just grab the tongue and pull the fin out instead of having to dig your thumb into the heel cup to grab it. constriction at the end. As a result they are a bit bulkier in my swim bag but still fit much better than full size SCUBA fins. WEIGHT: They are a little heavier than the Alpha fins but hopefully won't fit in my car. I still wouldn't say these are heavy fins. WORKOUT: I didn't have any calf cramps and felt like I was pushing with my hips instead of my knees, so I'd say they're good for training. I'm not a sprinter anymore, so I don't care about anything that allows me to train with more strokes. I don't know if they're good for that or not, but they were good for just doing circles with a kickboard or on your back, and they definitely didn't feel like flexible snorkel fins that you have to kick very slowly. as they bend.
