Works great on Porsche Cayenne 958.2

Tekonsha 119251 works great with Porsche Cayenne 958.2. Installation was very easy and you can watch many videos online to see how to take things apart to access the cables. In case it can help someone, here is the wiring diagram for the rear lights for the Cayenne 958.2 model. 1 The brake sensor with the red sticker goes to the driver's red/yellow wire. 2 A yellow left turn signal goes to the driver with a green/white stripe. 3 The brown tail light sensor is connected to the wire with the grey/yellow stripe. A NOTICE. There are TWO gray and yellow wires on the left, but this is the one with the bolder yellow color, otherwise you just need to switch to the right one. 4 The right turn signal sensor's green sticker goes to the black/green line on the passenger side. For power you can fish it under the wagon to the front battery OR. Luckily, on a Cayenne with a Bose system under the spare tire, the positive power line is always on, so having the positive terminal right there makes a very clean connection. Programming is very easy. Nothing but pull a fuse to reset everything. Start the car with the headlights off, then turn them on for 5 seconds, then turn off EACH of them to start the learning process. Headlights for taillight, brakes, left turn, right turn. It helps if you buy a cheap 4 pin clutch tester and see them blinking, which I did.

Pros
  • 5 amp for trailer tail light circuits. Works with low side plug in vehicles
Cons
  • Cable shorter than other options
