I installed this on our 2015 BMW X3. I installed it in under 1 1/2 hours after watching a video on etrailers.com. This is perfect for a BMW as you don't have to splice wires that can complicate the electrical system. The battery in the trunk makes installation much easier. You may need to purchase some new plastic fasteners to hold the fairing pieces in place.
