Review on Toyo Proxes T1-R 245/45 R18 96Y summer by Stanisaw Muter ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are deviations, in general it is tolerable.

Size 205/50/15. Washes moderately. Earlier they wrote that it is plastic - not true, but it does not look like an eraser either, and therefore it is not erased quickly. You can't say for sure if it's good or bad. In dry weather, of course, it’s better not to ride on it - grip is 2+, but as soon as it starts to rain, the rubber seems to fall into its element, it really behaves much better than on a dry surface. So if you use it exclusively in the rain, you won't regret taking it, because the tread of it is pure "rainfall". Well, if for every day . better look for another rubber.

Pros
  • Enough for 5 seasons, although the last two years just killed her. I didn’t catch any cones, but I didn’t fall into large pits either. Toyo Proxes T1-S (previous model) stood before it, bent the disk - at least something rubber, maybe this one, as a follower, is resistant to shock . On wet pavement it’s just class, there was no aquaplaning, no skidding, although I tried step on the gas when cornering. It brakes perfectly on a wet surface (not like on a dry road), perfectly removes water from the contact patch, large puddles do not care. The rubber is tough (in my subjective opinion, this is a plus), it is conducive to aggressive driving, it holds turns very well. It rides pretty well in the mud, given the tread pattern. Looks cute. Look like that's it.
Cons
  • It brakes on a dry surface very badly, in corners a little pressure on the gas and it polishes the asphalt. After the second season, cracks appeared. Noisy. Course stability is NO, if there is a small track or rails on the road, you have to catch the car, wags like . I don’t know what .
