what a stupid purchase. stop reading this This area can only show details if your sample or what you want to see is transparent. Like a honey bee's paw. But if you try to see a detail, like something solid like a leaf, then you won't see anything because the light is coming from below the object, not from above. Light cannot penetrate a solid object and you will be completely disappointed. I was trying to see a leaf from my garden that had some bugs on it and this scope didn't help at all. Waste of time and effort. Think again before you buy this because you won't always be looking at a honey bee's foot. Also, not a single eyepiece worked at any distance except one. I don't understand why the other two are there if you can't see anything on him. Total waste. I hope that explains and I hope my review was helpful 👍
