I first used it while riding in a car on a hike with three other people. It takes 4-5 hours to get to the campsite. There were no problems on the way there. The only noise was the strong sound of the wind blowing through the windows, so we had to adjust the ratchet straps a bit to get it to stop. Otherwise the bag will not move at 70 mph. Definitely waterproof/weatherproof as we rode in the rain. However, when we were packing up the campsite to return home 4 days later, one of the straps attached to the roof bag broke. This strap that snapped is necessary to allow the ratchet straps to go through and hold the bag. We had to tie a ratchet strap to another strap in the back and hoped for the best as we made the long return journey with the bag held in only three places. Overall the positives are: waterproof, doesn't move, loads of space, comes with a mat and ratchet straps. Cons: Terrible instructions provided they didn't make much sense can make the ride noisy when wind is blowing in the windows due to the ratchet straps and not as harsh as I expected because the strap broke when we started using it pull up. Descent. It has the potential to be a good product. Maybe I only had one marriage with this strap. Everyone else was fine, although I was nervous the whole time because someone else had slipped. I don't feel safe using it if it isn't fully held or tears that easily.
