Works great with Intel Mini PCI Card

I was looking for a card that had wireless and bluetooth capabilities and still let me connect to Intel WIDI. I really couldn't find what I was looking for as the cards that do what I want are only made on mini PCI. I was also thinking about buying a PCIe adapter that would allow me to add a mini PCI card, but the problem is that the bluetooth part doesn't work with any of the adapters as they don't have USB power to deal with to support the Bluetooth function. That's when I found this gigabit adapter that did everything I wanted except it could connect to Intel WIDI. Back then, I rethought my idea of one of Intel's mini PCI cards, put it in this adapter, and removed the original one. I ended up buying this adapter and an Intel Centrino 6235anhmw Mini PCI card. I plugged a mini PCI card into the adapter and then installed the whole thing on my newly built machine. It worked great. I updated all Intel drivers and now have excellent Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and WIDI connectivity. It's a bit more expensive when done my way, but it's all in one small package and works great. If you're looking to do something similar, or just want a great adapter, this is the one for you. Note, however, that unless you're replacing the mini PCI card with an Intel card like I did, you'll need to install all the drivers first to make it work. Otherwise you have no connection. With an Intel card, you don't have to worry about it working right out of the box.
