Excellent WiFi and Bluetooth Board

For a while I wanted to switch a particular computer from a wired network to a wireless network. Other USB devices worked for a while and then stopped working, defeating my requirement for continuous access from 9:30am to 4:00pm. This board has been running for months without incident and basically makes you forget the difference between wired (very strong but difficult to move) and wireless (not that strong but very easy to move). FWIW, the same map was installed on another computer and has…

Excellent goods. Outstanding performance. Easy installation.

I don't know where the problem comes from when installing this product. I mean it kindly: if this was a difficult setup for you, chances are you need more experience building or repairing a PC. Installation couldn't have been easier. Insert the card, install the driver and off you go. One silly mistake I made was not plugging in the USB as I assumed it was due to an extra feature I didn't care about. However, this is required for Bluetooth as Bluetooth does not work over the PCIe bus. Not sure…

Great low cost Wi-Fi card

This is a great card that easily integrates into existing systems. With the combination of Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0, this is a great add-on card for motherboards that don't have it. I have a Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H which is a great board but no built in wifi or bluetooth. The drivers install easily and I had no problems using them or installing the software that came with them. This is a really compact card that runs in a PCIE x1 slot and connects to the motherboard via a USB 2.0…

Decent device, best in Computers & Accessories

It does what you expect it to do: good Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at the same time. However, I was a bit disappointed with the use of the port. It occupies at least one internal USB port and one PCIe slot for full functionality. This USB port is used for Bluetooth connectivity and was likely implemented to take advantage of the Windows Bluetooth stack and provide some excess bandwidth. I was hoping this would implement some sort of built-in PCIe USB to save on ports. I think I should have researched…

Very happy with it although I don't see any dual band options.

I don't see anything in the adapter settings for the 5GHz channel even though it supports MIMO. seems to work at advertised speeds. Blows my Rosewill adapter out of the water, throughput and range! It's a dual band adapter so to be honest I just don't know. Many people using Windows 7 seem to have some problems with the card. I'm currently using version 8. I skipped the installation CD and downloaded the latest drivers from the Gigabytes website. did it with the card and only rebooted once…

Works great with Intel Mini PCI Card

I was looking for a card that had wireless and bluetooth capabilities and still let me connect to Intel WIDI. I really couldn't find what I was looking for as the cards that do what I want are only made on mini PCI. I was also thinking about buying a PCIe adapter that would allow me to add a mini PCI card, but the problem is that the bluetooth part doesn't work with any of the adapters as they don't have USB power to deal with to support the Bluetooth function. That's when I found this gigabit…
