I have been a machinist for over 25 years. This stamp is as good as most regular stamps I've used. I would recommend removing the detent and spring from the front sight. Since this die is used for threading gun barrels I would like to see only one side of the starter and the other side with a small starter could be used for threading closer to the front sight. But a crush washer helps fill in a small gap if it bothers you. Also, drilling the clam's beak a few thousand deeper will bring it closer to the scope and latch. The Matrix seemed a little tight, or my shaft was a little bigger than most. An adjustable matrix would be ideal. I had to remove quite a bit of metal from the barrel to thread it. I used a thin file and sandpaper and used a caliper to make sure it stayed round. I highly recommend using the die hole guide available from Brownells.
