Low heat only - no kidding
I came back to write a review and noticed that they advise you to only use low heat on this kettle which I wish I had understood beforehand. We have powerful gas burners which, if not lit, will leave scorch marks on the outside. We continued to use it even though it was unsightly, but when the water was boiling recently the smoke alarm went off and we found the bit of plastic in the point cap on the burner had melted. Wouldn't recommend it.
