Review on 🐠 Hygger Aquarium Air Stone Kit - Fish Tank Bubbler for Hydroponics, Round Air Stone Disk Set with Small Bubbles and Ultra-High Dissolved Oxygen Diffuser by Beth Brooks

We have had this product for about three months now. The bubbling effect is fantastic and releases a lot of air. The problem is the accumulation of algae on the rock itself. We walk long distances to keep our tank clean but algae has accumulated on top of the rock. I went to great lengths to clean the top of the unit with hot water and a brush, but I don't want to expose it to chemicals. Despite our best efforts, there are still patches of green algae on the bubbler. It's quite unsightly to have a well maintained aquarium with a nice white bubble apparatus but covered with algae. Very dissatisfied with the product and if I had known this was happening in such a short time I would definitely purchase another product. Definitely not worth it for three months of use at this price. Reviews mention how well it works but not how impossible it is to clean. I'm not necessarily saying that more expensive is better or less expensive is worse, but do research all the options available before making a purchase. As the return period has expired I can no longer return it and am left with a disgusting aquarium device that needs to be replaced when it should have lasted a little longer.
