Review on πŸ”¨ IIT 88400 Ladies 8 Ounce Hammer: Powerful and Perfectly Sized for Women's Needs! by Mark Lowery

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Poorly balanced and looked used when it arrived.

I was looking for a one of a kind paint hammer that my husband and son couldn't steal. I couldn't find any turquoise or purple so I went with pink knowing they couldn't claim ownership. I was feeling quite smug until my gavel came when all feelings of smugness were gone. The handle was dirty and worn like a hammer had been used. Traces of dirt were not removed and it was impossible to reduce scuffs. The hammer itself is poorly balanced and unusually heavy. Understandably, IIT was trying to make a smaller, more streamlined handle that would fit in a woman's hand, but as a woman with small hands who's used a hammer when needed since her teens, I thought the attempt was epic. fail. The handle doesn't have enough weight to counterbalance the hammer head, making it uncomfortable for me to hold in my hands. Even with dirt and scuffs on the handle, I would try to get the hammer to work, but the balance issue cannot be ignored. Ladies please do not buy this hammer just because you like the color or you will be very disappointed although the hammer can be returned. I bought a matching tape measure and it also arrived scratched and damaged but I'm sticking with it because for some weird reason they don't accept returns on this item.

Pros
  • Claw Hammers
Cons
  • So far so good
