Seriously, how do you jack up a solid car without damaging the weld? I always use marked nest sites and it always hurts. I was fed up with it and finally got this adapter kit. I kick myself for not doing this sooner! However I would say the washer adapter probably wouldn't fit on a 1-1.5 ton jack, they have a fairly small footprint. I have a 3 ton jack and the pad cup is big enough for the washer adapter to fit in so it doesn't slip out anywhere. Used several times, no cracks or damage to pad or machine!
