So. I haven't been this excited to write a review in a long time. I just received my purchased iPhone 12 Pro Max last Wednesday. I used it until Thursday when my screen protectors arrived. (I have MS and dropping things is always inevitable.) When they arrived I removed the protective film from the factory and immediately put on the screen and protective film for the camera. My suitcases were also supposed to arrive on Thursday, but that didn't happen. Friday nothing. Saturday nothing. Which brings us to this morning, Monday morning, 5 days after receiving my new valuable item, I had a "multiple sclerosis moment" and dropped my phone on my bathroom tile floor. It was only 2-3 feet but there was still a dent/scratch on the phone's outer casing. Purely cosmetic, but really frustrating and disappointing. The mail came, and lo and behold, my suitcase arrived. I put it on IMMEDIATELY. Then I saw that the protection of the camera had cracked. As. Not good. BUT MY CAMERA WAS IN PERFECT FORM! BUT! This protector already saved my phone for 5 days. I would also like to say that I was initially skeptical that the housing could support the camera protection because it seems to protrude so far (actually it doesn't, it just increases the convex surface from the lenses to the whole part of the camera) The cover fits perfectly over the protector. (Unfortunately the case itself doesn't fit so I'll be returning it when my LifeProof case arrives on Thursday). OH YEAH! About the face shield: It's amazing. My previous phone had a glass back with a peeling film, but the edges were pretty dull. This resulted in cracks in the lid almost immediately if dropped or dented. It also allowed blisters to form and dirt to penetrate below the surface. This tread has a smooth bezel that creates a seamless finish. That's great. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
