Don't worry about memory card reader

Don't waste your money on this item. It lasted less than 6 months with very moderate use. Someone remarked that this reader was "retarded," and for lack of a better description, I agree. I don't know how to explain but the cards don't fit in the slot like you think they should. And the slot is big enough that you can put it in the wrong way which will bend the pins. My pins never really bent, I handled them very gently, but the whole plastic part that had the pins fell off. Completely unimpressed with this product. You get what you pay for and I've been buying cheap card readers all along hoping to find one with hidden value. I could buy three of the more expensive dual slot Lexar readers that Revain also sells for as many cheap readers as I've tried. Save yourself the frustration, spend the extra money and get something that won't break after a few uses.
