The 'long' black strap that runs through the device and behind the head mount is almost not long enough (not even long enough! ) if you have your head size dial set to maximum (just the way it fits my dumb head). Even if it barely goes through the loop and there is enough velcro to hold it, it's not enough. In order for it to go through both loops, the back of the main unit would need to be on the back of my head. nothing will hold onto my head as I twirl like a kid and learn for the first time how someone's body works (as my VR-ing has been described). It works better without, at least on my head, but I'm afraid that without something there might be some extra strain. It also comes with a strip of black square adhesive pads which are not described in the instructions. My only guess is that they are replacement parts that slide on the Oculus rails (there are black spacers that press it against the rails to give it some resistance). After a few hours with this setup I will update it as needed.
