Review on DEE ZEE DZ43206 Tailgate Assist: Perfect Fit for 19-Current Ford Ranger by Brent Porter

Don't get me wrong. This is a great addition to my truck (too bad it's not standard on the truck). But I would think that after all these years they would know how to make a shock aid that works in sub-zero temperatures. I installed mine in my garage at work. Light. Worked great. It stayed at 14 degrees until we got home. Weather. Came home and showed my wife how well it works. Ha. The full disclosure took almost a minute. The wife was not impressed. Now that the temperature is above zero, it works better. I saw this edition a few years ago but it's now 2021. Oh I forgot. We should all have jetpacks now. All in all, it's nice to have in the truck when the temperature is above freezing. But maybe use the full temperature range. Lube can help. For the change I would pay 30 cents extra.
