I was certain that buying an aluminum clamp would be more accurate than a plastic clamp. I was wrong in that assumption. I had to install 5" center links on very wide boxes, and after carefully adjusting the jig, I found that the links on the left side were falling almost 1/8" off. An oversized hole was required to correct alignment and each subsequent pull required a top stop washer to ensure proper alignment. It's too late to send it back. If you only mount single hole grips then this mount will likely work for you. But remember, if the installation pulls, check the alignment before drilling! Three stars for the material quality. It would be five if the lamp were square. As a retired carpenter, I'm not happy.
