Clean cut, great grip

Oh that's VERY pretty! I tend to use items until there are no more resources in them, and after sharpening my old secateurs over and over again, I've decided to buy a new one. The handle is firm yet soft, and the blades are surprisingly sharp. After using them for fall cleaning, all my plants got clean cuts and I never had jams. It's great to have a new tool that actually works and appears to be very well made.

Untenable. best shears and scissors

Bought these scissors in February. I've only used them a couple of times when my lower jaw broke. I did not abuse these scissors, they had to be of very high quality and I wanted to take good care of them. With a suggested retail price of $40, it looks like they should have lasted more than part of a summer. I have contacted Gonicc regarding warranty coverage but have not received a response. Obviously they don't endorse their product. Update November 26th: We were contacted last week by a…

I hate BS ratings. Here's the TRUTH: They're THE BEST!

I hate BS reviews. Here's the TRUTH: They're THE BEST! I've used probably half a dozen brands over the years, from cheap to expensive from Home Depot to upscale online sellers. While other expensive scissors worked, NONE compares to the overall experience with the GONICC Pruner/Clipper. First, they CUT easily and smoothly on really hard, tough branches; second, they are light and comfortable; Third, they make a CLEAN cut. Those are my top 3 priorities. After buying and trying 1 pair, I went…

Great Secateurs - Loppers and Scissors

I bought these a few years ago when I lost a couple. I didn't investigate, they just turned out to be commonplace. And these are by far the best scissors I've ever had. Comfortable, sharp, effective for good, clean cuts. They are so sharp that you have to be extra careful, which will probably be the only downside. You can injure yourself with it as the tip is very sharp. So I wouldn't let a child use them, and if you're particularly clumsy you might want to look for something with a blunt end.…

Broken after some use

I think I received a broken item, although looking at the breakage (see photo) I have to think it's quite common. All I was doing was pruning the small branches in my backyard when these shears fell. Nothing more to say than this is the first time a pruner has failed catastrophically and beyond repair. And I haven't even used them more than a few times. UPDATE: After I posted this review, the seller contacted me immediately, explained the problem, and offered a full refund. The seller also…

Falls apart quickly

I really liked these clippers when I received them. So much so that when they fell apart after a few months of little to no use I bought another pair. The second couple also broke up around the same time. In any case, the clipper was actually cutting for perhaps a total of 3 hours. What happens is that the screw holding the two halves of the clipper together loosens very quickly and, if you're not looking, falls out. Obviously the company that makes this product hasn't mastered the art of using

Buyer Warning! - Scissors and Scissors

BUYERS ATTENTION! I have been using gardening tools for over twenty years and I enjoy using both quality and inexpensive tools. I have scissors and pruning shears that I use regularly. These secateurs have to be the worst quality tool I've ever used and more importantly, the most dangerous. The spring broke within the first hour of using the secateurs which was a disappointment. However, what made it worse was that when I put the secateurs away at the end of the day, the latch holding the…
