I really liked these clippers when I received them. So much so that when they fell apart after a few months of little to no use I bought another pair. The second couple also broke up around the same time. In any case, the clipper was actually cutting for perhaps a total of 3 hours. What happens is that the screw holding the two halves of the clipper together loosens very quickly and, if you're not looking, falls out. Obviously the company that makes this product hasn't mastered the art of using a lock nut to prevent this. This technology has been around for over 100 years, so I really can't excuse its absence. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Of course I could buy some screws, but it's better to buy a pair of well-made wire cutters first.
