WOW! This is an amazing pen.
I know this handle is for a much larger barn door. I did however make a leather handle that was almost the same design as my screen door. I bought it because it's big enough to wrap my hand around and easy to grip. The next reason it has to be durable. Well, it's the most durable. Next, it should be easy to install. For holes, for screws. Quite easy. The metal is pleasant to the touch, but not so rough that you could scratch yourself. Finally, it is designed for outdoor use on sliding barn doors. Maybe even open the barn doors to the outside. It is not deep enough for a doorknob or latch to hit the handle. Highly recommended for this type of use. Excellent value for money and quality.
