Review on Celestron Nature DX ED 8x42 Premium Binoculars with Extra-Low Dispersion Glass by Braden Douville

These binoculars work very well - powerful and lightweight. My biggest complaint is that you have to squeeze the two sides together as hard as possible to see through both eyepieces (four of us had this problem). I guess the people at Celestron have their eyes wide open!? As others have pointed out, they are difficult to hold still at this high magnification level, no big deal, but I ordered a monopod and a "Binocular Adapter Tripod". In this case, the large thumbscrew adapter will not work with this binocular (the thumbscrew separates the two sides). The one with the small screw [Carson Tripod Adapter for Binoculars (TA-50)] should work.
