so far so good. Unfortunately, when I tried to move one of the cable clamps, it broke in half. I had only unpacked the stand 10 minutes beforehand so that was a bit disappointing. In addition, the stand itself looks high-quality with many adjustment options. For the price I bought it for (just under $20), I'd say it's a pretty good deal. I will say that the tripod arm doesn't feel too supportive and I'm curious if it will actually hold my condenser mic. Time will tell and I'll likely update the review when I have more time with the stand. I'm writing this review primarily to buy up Pyle's extended warranty policy. Update: The stand is still usable but doesn't serve the purpose I originally needed it for. If you need a vocal mic stand to match your typical SM-58 style dynamic mic, this stand will almost certainly fit. I ordered it with the intention of using a mid-diaphragm condenser mic (AKG P120 for reference), but its plastic and hardware aren't strong enough to handle the mic more than 8 inches away. If you plan to use a mic that weighs much more than 3/4 pounds. and if you have any orientation other than perpendicular to the ground you can have problems which I definitely had. If you just want a portable dynamic vocal mic stand, you'll probably be fine.
