I am so disappointed that I could NOT reproduce the faults described by other reviewers and/or shown in the pictures. I placed the jars on the top shelf as instructed, set them on high heat and they went through without warping, breaking or separating. I've also tried getting condensation on mine but no luck. Just dry and a little chilly outside, but no moisture, not even in the misted up bathroom with the misted up mirror. Then I tried the ice test. And another sad news: the ice lasts a long time. I could melt it quickly if I poured a room temperature drink over ice, but if it was a cold drink the ice stays put for hours, at least inside. Then I tried the same thing outside in hot Las Vegas and found that the ice melts faster when it's hot outside (95 degrees and above). Even faster in the sun! Wow what a surprise. I have an insulated metal tumbler that holds ice better, but it doesn't look as pretty as these glasses and I hate the taste and feel of metal rims when drinking from it. Also, I can't wash this metal in the dishwasher or the color will come off. So since mine work great, I (unfortunately) have to rate them 5 stars. Cons: - a bit pricey - they are big and my wife can find them difficult to hold; I need to get her a smaller size.
