Review on Carter P4603HD Rotary Vane Electric by Trey Crosland

I purchased this item on February 19, 2013 and it arrived on time. But on August 5, 2013, the device failed. I contacted the manufacturer, Federal-Mogul, and was told that all warranty claims are handled through the retailer that Federal-Mogul credits. A Federal-Mogul representative informed me that all retailers must sign a contract. The contract stipulates that the dealer is responsible for warranty processing. So I tried to contact the seller and was told that they would not honor the warranty or their contract with Federal-Mogul. I'm not done with this problem yet. But I think other potential customers should be aware that while this seller advertises guarantees, they don't live up to them. Basically, they might be selling a poor quality product and if it fails, you're stuck as a buyer.
