Pros: The color palette is good and scales up well. Good gray uniformity (except for edges, see cons). The price is very good for the size and overall quality. Beautiful design with thin bezels. Supports freesync for some games. Good simple joystick and menu system for settings. Cons: The Edge's LED lighting design leaves a lot to be desired. The display is only 60Hz. HDR is a joke. There's no true HDR rating for the monitor as it's only limited to 350 nits and edge backlighting. HDR just means it accepts HDR input, but turning it on actually gives you a horribly blurry image. If you want an HDR-like experience, you'll actually get a much better picture with Vivid or "HDR Like" mode. Who is this monitor suitable for? Casual PC use and casual gaming who want to try 4k cheap. It's a decent monitor for the money, but after sufficient usage, a good color gamut and 4k resolution, consider upgrading to something that either has a higher refresh rate for gaming or a monitor with a true HDR output like this VESA DisplayHDR 400. or higher.
