Review on 📁 Renewed NeatDesk Digital Filing System with PC Desktop Scanner by Eric Chapman

The scanner itself is fine, but NEAT has suffered a lot in the last year. They effectively forced their customers to subscribe to the Neat Cloud service and pay monthly, and stopped releasing desktop software as well. I bought this scanner for my father and have been using the Neat Desk Scanner for several years now. Many of my files are stored in NeatDesk, which is being retired. I'm not interested in subscribing and paying for the cloud when I have redundant local storage at home and in the office. I will also report that this software often crashes even after several updates and customer support tickets. I strongly encourage you to look at other products and avoid Neat.
