This perfect device did exactly what it said it would and kept my couch in place. My mother in law has been coming to us for TWO MONTHS to help us care for our newborn. My sanity was checked fairly regularly, and for some reason I just focused on the little details that were really driving me nuts. An example would be the way she sat on the couch. She just dropped, pushed the couch out of its place and slammed the table behind it, splashing the plant with water. While any normal person would probably just deal with it, or move a plant, or do anything else logical, my sleep-deprived brain went OFF. My husband bought them for me to keep the peace. The couch stopped moving and sanity was (temporarily) restored.
