Review on ๐Ÿ”ช Freud DS1203CP3 Diablo 12 Inch Carbide Pruning Reciprocating Blade (Pack of 3) by Larry Sabey

These blades will make your job easier!

If you use a reciprocating saw regularly and have never used a Diablo Carbide saw blade before, you are missing out on a whole new saw experience. It's like another world. Reciprocating saws will beat you to death and really hurt your hand if you use them all day or for long periods of time. To minimize this, you should change blades frequently, as a regular blade in any receiver saw will dull very quickly due to the impact it causes. If you don't use a sharp blade, you'll break the saw too. Diablo claims their carbide blades stay 50 times sharper than regular blades. I'm not sure if that's true, but if it's half as good, it's a miracle. They stay extremely sharp compared to regular blades and make slicing much easier than any other blade I've tried. I also almost never break a Diablo blade and I could pave the sidewalk back to my workshop with regular blades I've broken. Yes. They cost a little more, but I've found that they last a lot longer in the long run and save you so much more time and work that it's worth it. Another tip: if you're cutting trees or wood that has a lot of sap or rosin in it, I put a lot of silicone spray on the blade. It keeps the blade clean, reduces friction and heat, and certainly makes it a lot easier to get the job done without tiring your hand. By the way, I am just an avid saber saw user and am not being paid or rewarded for this review.
