Pruning a palm tree trunk.

Felling a palm tree with a chainsaw is very difficult. In addition, it is very hard for the saw. I bought a set of these blades to trim and trim palm trees. Much faster than a chainsaw. Have attached a video. There they will also "press" into the trunk of the tree. The end of the blade is shaped accordingly. Cut palms non-stop for almost 2 hours for 1 1/2 hours and don't feel the blade dull.

Not as good as Skil Ugly Branch Blade

I was looking for a longer branch blade and after great reviews settled on this one. However, I was disappointed with both the cutting dynamics (they vibrate and bounce a lot) and the speed. I then bought a set of Skil The Ugly Pruning Knives and liked them a lot more. The start of the cut was much easier to control (less bounce and vibration) and the cutting speed was faster. While these Diablo blades work, I think they would work better as a long demolition blade.

Put away your chainsaw

I have acres of trees and one tree every week seems to need attention. I have a large 20" chainsaw and a light 16" chainsaw. Plus a saber saw. For the last 2 years I have used a reciprocating saw for almost all of my pruning needs. Equipped with a 12" Diablo carbide blade, I can do all my pruning jobs. And that's a safety aspect when working on stairs, since I can operate the saw with one hand. . I've cut 8" to 10" diameter storm damaged branches with little effort. .Carbide is important

These blades are great for big, tough roots and saved me $400!

I had a bunch of very large gnarled pine roots growing under the driveway from a very large pine that had just been felled. The roots had to be removed to carry out additional work at the site. These were large roots, 6 to 8 inches in diameter. I tried a chainsaw and blunted the blade almost immediately due to the sandy bottom and small rocks. I've used these Diablo carbide blades and have had no problem cutting through the roots right into the ground. The carbide tips of the cutting blades…

Perfect for my DeWalt 20V cordless reciprocating saw

Priced at approximately $6.50 per blade, these Freud 12-inch carbide reciprocating saw blades are at their most expensive. higher cost: 1. First, these 12" blades are stronger and stronger than my previously favorite Bosch blades.2. The carbide tips are perfectly shaped and very sharp, requiring much less effort even on the toughest/big jobs.3. Superior design and construction mean less wear and tear on the saw itself. You can let the blade do its job without abusing the tool itself. The robust

Suspicion of fakes? - Made in China?

First I bought these Revain 12 inch pruning knives, supplied by Revain Prime. I saw this pack of blades for about $3 off with no prime shipping and ordered them as I still had the blade from the original pack of three. When I opened the first package I was immediately struck by the color and finish of the blades - almost perfect to use. When I opened the second package I thought something was wrong. The screen printing on the blades is poor or non-existent in places. The three blades aren't…

These blades will make your job easier!

If you use a reciprocating saw regularly and have never used a Diablo Carbide saw blade before, you are missing out on a whole new saw experience. It's like another world. Reciprocating saws will beat you to death and really hurt your hand if you use them all day or for long periods of time. To minimize this, you should change blades frequently, as a regular blade in any receiver saw will dull very quickly due to the impact it causes. If you don't use a sharp blade, you'll break the saw too…

The best saber saw blade!

Before this blade I used a regular 12 inch pruning saw to cut branches here and there. Branches 3 in. long to blade length. I've been cutting a lot lately. The main carbon steel blades dull easily. The trees I attacked were probably members of the hardwood family. The sap from these branches was sticky, which contributed to the fact that dirt quickly accumulated in the teeth when cutting, increasing the load on the saw. In these branches it is not easy to keep the chainsaw high up on the…
