You pay for that! Brilliant!

This was for a 2009 Honda Accord 4 dr v6, I tried the generics but the check engine light kept coming on. Therefore you pay what you pay for. Research and Development! I tried the Takeda Short Piston Kit, it had way more fittings and adapters than I would have liked, not to mention there was one part missing from delivery (cone adapter!). So they returned it and I bought a trustworthy K&N for another $40. Well it was worth it. The fit is tight and tight. There were supports for the main components, so it's durable. It even came with new ones - 2 hex bolts to attach the MAF sensor to the pipe. Too bad it wasn't as bright as Takeda's polished pipe, but you know what? NO LAMP CHECK ENGINE! Brilliant! Chord Rip Rev. The sound is deeper, hoarse but muffled when you need it and loud when you hit the gas pedal. I've had K&N, INJEN, APC, WEapon R and Generic - K&N has always been reliable. Filters last longer than the cars I put them in and I usually leave my cars at least 6 years old. Watch out for them, they last longer than a car.
