first let me say this is the first bit i have. And it's AMAZING! I am building an arcade machine and this allowed me to "copy" the left and right sides so they are exactly the same size. It worked very well and cut through 3/4" MDF plywood. I've since used it to clean up the trim pieces I added around the edges to make them sit flush. Chisel cuts product LOWER. If you have pieces of wood on top of each other need to stack, the piece at the top is your guide/template and the piece at the bottom is what gets cut.I also ended up buying another cutoff bit that has the bearing at the bottom of the bit.This allows me to cut the part trim the top to match the part below both are very handy for eliminating overlaps and making cuts based on templates, in general it's very convenient a handy tool and the quality of this Amana bit is particular first class.
