When the low pressure side valve on my truck started leaking I had to decide between this tool and the excellent (but 4x the price) Mastercool kit. I'm no longer a professional mechanic, the choice was obvious. I paid $30 versus $125 for the Mastercool set. As a result, this tool is not that good. Reviews that it will not hold a removed valve core are 100% correct. It took me half a dozen tries to get the coil off my truck. Finally I had to put a drop of petroleum grease on the end of the valve core to make it stick to the end of the puller. I don't recommend it, but it worked for me. If I had to make money off this thing, I'd buy Mastercool and never look back. Since I'll probably use this once or twice in my life, I'm happy to buy a tool that takes me half an hour to fiddle with.
