I've compared this camera to a few other webcams. This webcam has a very wide viewing angle. This makes it very suitable for group webcams, but it is a bit wider than I would like for one-on-one meetings. Some software will automatically crop just your face, expanding the range of positions while staying within frame, but this is limited by the app you're using. It would be nice if the drivers supported this natively with face tracking and zoom functionality. By default, the drivers also return a somewhat high-contrast image. I have a webcam app that can tweak the settings and I changed the configuration to overexpose a bit, increase the blacks and decrease the contrast which resulted in a better image, but I want better/brighter right away see.
