The brightness of 45 lumens is sufficient for use at night, but not for use during the day.
45 lumens of brightness are enough for the night, but not for the day. The two side straps are not strong enough to hold the lifejacket and withstand any abuse, they will break immediately. For the price it's ok. It is only a strobe light and therefore not suitable for navigational fire. By law, strobe lights are for emergency signaling only and NOT for navigation or lighting.
